The latest glimpse of Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road gives audiences a fiery introduction to Gowri Hegde, played by the powerhouse performer Tabu. A Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Gowri is portrayed as a no-nonsense officer who appears equally comfortable taking charge of a volatile situation and taking on those who stand in her way.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, Slum Dog is an action drama with shades of mystery and emotion. The project has been steadily building buzz through its promotional campaign. The new glimpse now shifts the focus to Tabu and delivers a character introduction loaded with intensity.
Gowri takes on the goons head-on, refuses to be intimidated by the hostile crowd and uses a wooden baton while bringing the situation under control. Her aggression is matched by absolute confidence, making it evident that she is not the conventional officer who simply gives orders from a distance.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are producing the film under Puri Connects, along with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures. The makers will announce the film’s release date soon.
