Wait, Teja Sajja Has Won An Award Every Year?

Teja Sajja has earned award recognition for five consecutive years from 2022 to 2026.

Teja Sajja has been quietly collecting awards, and the count is starting to look a little surprising.

Most people would probably connect Teja’s awards run with Hanu-Man. Fair enough, because that film changed everything for him. But his award story actually started before that. In 2022, he won the Jury Special Debutant Lead Actor award for Zombie Reddy and also took home SIIMA’s Most Promising Newcomer Male award.

After Hanu-Man, things only got bigger. Teja won the GAMA Best Trending Actor award for the 2023 edition, followed by the Best Actor in a Leading Role honour at the Radio City Cine Awards in 2024.

And here is the part that makes this little record interesting. The awards did not disappear after the Hanu-Man hype settled down. Teja won the SIIMA Critics Award for Best Actor in Telugu in 2025 and then added the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor in Telugu in 2026.

Basically, Teja has had an award win every year from 2022 to 2026. Five years in a row. For someone whose biggest breakthrough came only recently, that is a pretty interesting record to have sitting quietly in the background.
