Superhero Teja Sajja, who has enjoyed major success with HanuMan and Mirai, returns as the protagonist in the second instalment of Zombie Reddy. After successfully establishing the Zombie franchise with Zombie Reddy, the team is expanding the universe with a sequel that promises a larger canvas. Suparn S Varma who shot to fame with The Family Man Season 2, Rana Naidu and Haq directs the project, with Prasanth Varma serving as its creator. TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad are producing it under People Media Factory.
The title glimpse opens with a disclaimer stating that no AI was used, before unfolding in reverse with zombies, vehicles and destruction. A zombie falls from a flyover onto a truck, leading back to Teja Sajja’s character and a chaotic undead attack that reaches Hyderabad’s Charminar.
Teja Sajja delivers a mass moment as he takes on the zombie hordes with a bat, declaring, “This time, next level,” before the title Zombie Reddy2 NXT LVL is unveiled with a joystick-and-zombie-hand logo that captures the film’s youthful, irreverent tone.
Real Star Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor are part of the ensemble, while the technical team brings together several notable names. Gowra Hari composes the music, and his BGM is truly next level. Abhinandan Ramanujam is the cinematographer, Banglam is the production designer, and Vijay Velukutty is the editor.
The makers have also announced a global release in 2027 across seven languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Japanese.
