The superhero film Mirai, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, has received recognition at SIIMA 2026 and other award events.
Directed by Karthik Gattamneni and starring Teja Sajja, the film received four honours at SIIMA 2026. These included Best Film for producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Best Actor – Critics for Teja Sajja, Best Cinematography for Karthik Gattamneni, and Best Actor in a Negative Role for Manoj Manchu.
This SIIMA recognition follows earlier honours at the Gaddar Telangana Awards and the INCA Awards 2026, where the film was recognised for its technical work, visual presentation, and execution.
Mirai has also been released in dubbed versions across multiple languages, with the film reaching audiences in different markets.
Teja Sajja is at the centre of the film, and Mirai has added to his recent work in pan-Indian cinema.
At the box office, Mirai crossed the ₹150 crore worldwide gross mark and $3 million in North America. It also became the highest-grossing Telugu film in both North India and Japan for 2025.
One year after its theatrical release, the team is now moving forward with Mirai Part 2. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to begin production soon.
