Popular singer Kalpana Raghavendra, who was also a participant in Nagarjuna’s Bigg Boss show was found unconscious at her residence in Nizampet, Hyderabad, on Tuesday.
According to reports, she had not opened her door for two days, prompting concerned apartment residents to alert the police.
Upon breaking open the door with police assistance, Kalpana was discovered in an unconscious state. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment on ventilator support.
While initial speculations suggest a suicide attempt due to sleeping pill consumption, official confirmation on the cause is awaited.
Kalpana, known for her extensive playback singing career, resides in Vertex Free Village, Nizampet, along with her husband. More details regarding her condition and the circumstances leading to the incident are expected soon.
