Thala Ajith is one of the heroes in Tamil Nadu who has some box office pull after Vijay and Rajinikanth. His last few films like Valimai and Thunivu were huge disappointments.
Now he is coming up with an action drama titled Vidaa Muyarchi.
On Sunday, the makers unveiled the first-look poster on social media, revealing Ajith in a stylish avatar. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film has been in production for some time, prompting eager anticipation from audiences.
Finally, the anticipation concluded as the makers revealed the first-look poster on their social media platforms. The poster features the actor in a sleek all-black outfit, strolling along a winding road that hints at hilly surroundings, carrying a duffel bag.
There were extremely negative reactions as soon as the first look poster came out. Those who were waiting to see the poster eagerly were hugely disappointed by such a lackluster poster. They claim that even fan-made edits look better than this official poster.
Many Tamil trade experts and influencers posted the same thing but they had to remove their criticizing posts as they received threats from Ajith fans, allegedly.
Produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions, Vidaa Muyarchi marks the first collaboration between Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni.
The film boasts a star-studded cast including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and others, with music by Anirudh. It is slated for a Diwali release.
