Prabhas Moves On, Others Still Suffering: One Film Shock

Prabhas films usually come with massive expectations, not just from fans but from everyone involved in the project. Actors and technicians often feel that working with him can give them pan India reach and take their careers to the next level. The same hopes surrounded his last film The Raja Saab, which was released during Sankranti 2026. The reality, however, turned out very different.

The film failed to live up to the hype. It received heavy backlash, flopped badly at the box office, and soon became troll material online. With that, many expectations of the people involved in the project also collapsed.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad reportedly faced massive financial setbacks after the film’s poor performance and has slowed down his production activities. Director Maruthi, who was expected to get a big career push from this film, now seems to be moving toward smaller projects instead of landing another star driven film.

However, the biggest impact appears to have been on the film’s three heroines.

Nidhhi Agerwal was already struggling after the Hari Hara Veera Mallu disaster. She was hoping Raja Saab would revive her career. Before the release, she mentioned signing three new films and said details would be announced after the movie’s success. It has been two months since the release, but there have been no official announcements so far.

Malavika Mohanan, who has quite a fan following on social media for her glamorous photoshoots, made her proper Telugu debut with this film. Many believed this big project would firmly establish her in Tollywood. Her role, however, turned out to be disappointing, and as of now, there are no signs of any Telugu offers coming her way.

Riddhi Kumar also did not gain much from the film. This is her second disaster with Prabhas after Radhe Shyam. Her role in Raja Saab was written poorly, and her performance did not leave much impact. Despite all three actresses being presented with strong glamour appeal, it did not translate into either box office success or career momentum.

At the moment, the general feeling is that The Raja Saab did not provide a breakthrough to anyone involved. Prabhas has quietly moved on to other projects like Spirit, Kalki 2, and Fauzi, while the other stars, technicians, and makers are still reeling under its disastrous impact on their careers.
