Prabhas Heroines: Operation Successful, Patient Dead

Nidhhi Malavika Riddhi Raja Saab

Raja Saab is a perfect example of the saying, “operation successful, patient dead.” This is especially true when it comes to its heroines.

On paper, the movie looked like a golden chance for Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar. Acting alongside Prabhas, being part of a big budget film, and earning the highest pay of their careers all looked like a big win. But what happened on screen was completely different.

The film turned into a box office disaster, and things became even worse after its OTT release. The heroines faced heavy trolling on social media. While the film’s failure is often blamed on multiple factors, Raja Saab put the heroines in trouble mainly because their roles were written very poorly.

Their characters had no real importance in the story. They were mostly there for glamour scenes, forced romance, and unnecessary songs. Many viewers felt that even if all the heroine scenes were removed, the story would not change at all.

One major reason for this was the forced romance. Since Prabhas’ recent films were serious and intense, he reportedly wanted more romance in this movie. To satisfy that, the director added too many random romantic and comedy scenes involving the heroines. These scenes did not match the story at all. Instead of entertaining the audience, they only irritated them.

Yes, the heroines earned big money from the film. But in the long run, the damage was bigger. After Raja Saab’s failure, producers are now hesitant to cast them, even in smaller films. It is not about their talent, but the negative image created by the movie’s failure.

In short, Raja Saab gave them good money, but it also slowed down their careers and hurt their credibility.
