This actress Hot for other industry, not for us

While many Telugu actresses have migrated to other film industries quoting reasons that Mumbai models and Bollywood actresses are preferred over Telugu girls, Poorna from Malayalam film industry complains the same on Mollywood. She says that local talent is ignored and Malayalam film makers are choosing actresses from other states.

Poorna says that she is hot for Malayalis after doing a peppy item number in superstar Mammooty’s film. But here in Tollywood and also in Kollywood she isn’t a hot heroine. The kind of roles she gets to essay in these industries give a village belly kinda image to her and Telugu film makers haven’t exploited the hot image whatsoever.

Nevertheless, Poorna is happy for the kind of roles and recognition she is getting in different South Film Industries though she feels her own Malayalam Film industry is ignoring talent. We think the same applies for Telugu actresses who complain the same on Tollywood and getting offers in Kollywood and Mollywood.
