Top 10 celebs of suspicious websites

Cyber crime has become a major part of life today and the most sought out Bollywood celebs are the ones used to lure victims. According to study conducted at IsecG Engineering India recently regarding the popular celebrity searches and their relation with the number of suspicious websites that could lead to cybercrimes, it was revealed that actress Priyanka Chopra tops that list, trumping last year’s Alia Bhatt. The risk percentage of her searches bringing up malware ridden sites is 15.56 per cent.

Other actors and actresses on that list include Shraddha Kapoor with a 12.92%, Kapil Sharma, only TV celebrity, with 12.22%, Jacqueline Fernandez having 11.94%, Kangana Ranaut with 11.11%, Hrithik Roshan having 10.97%, Deepika Padukone with 10.69%, Emraan Hashmi with 10.69%, Sunny Leone having 10.69%, and Alia Bhatt with a 10.42%.

The websites having malware content usually came up with searches like ‘Torrent’, ‘HD Download’, and ‘Free MP4’ along with the celeb names. About 11.47 percent of all the links that pop up after the searches for all these sensational celebrities were suspicious sites.
