Trailer Talk: Sam does Manam act again

After the success of ‘Raghuvaran B Tech’ (VIP in Tamil), at the outset, a sequel to that film ‘Thaga Magan’ itself is in happy space for the star casting. Dhanush sports two different looks representing two different phases aka teenager and an adult. And of course, he carries both the looks in his stride.

Amy Jackson is all glamour as his love interest in teenage. Samanta, as his wife in the later stage is purely homely and reminds us of her ‘Manam’ role in the flashback as mother of Nagarjuna. Her saree and make up reminds us ‘Manam’ more. As a house wife, her subtle expressions for matured romance with Dhanush, her struggle and everything makes Samanta look incredible.

Dhanush of course, easily portrays the differences between the two stages of his character, Tamil. The trailer has a mass appeal but there is everything from enough romance to action combined with some good background score by Anirudh.
