Uppena Pre-Release Credit Should Go to DSP!!

Debutante mega hero Vaishnav Tej’s ‘Uppena’ is all set to hit theatres on 12th February. Trade is expecting good openings for the film because of the music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. it looked like vintage DSP is back with a very decent album with at least two songs released till date turning out to be a blockbuster.

Recently released ‘30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela‘ has got good openings because of one chartbuster song ‘Neeli Neeli Aakasam’ scored by Devi Sri PrAnup Rubens. In fact, the movie was trashed by critics big time and it’s not worthy of a theatre visit. Critics across the board gave it very poor ratings.

But, that one song gave it good openings and of course, even the promotions helped it. Coming to ‘Uppena’, is a bigger movie and has more than one chartbuster songs. It’s coming from a big production house and has got megastar fans backing it big time. The latest song ‘Jala Jala Jalapatham’ also turned a super hit.

Now that the government has allowed 100% occupancy in the theatres, day-one is expected to be more than 4 crore plus. Regarding DSP music, so far all the songs became super hit and a big help for a debut hero. This might turn out to be a comeback for DSP if the movie also turns out to be a decent film at the box-office.
