It has been quite a long time since a film of Vijay Devarakonda has come out. He has been working on Puri Jagan’s Liger for the last two years and the film is yet to wrap up the shoot.

Even though Puri Jagan gave a hit in the form of Ismart Shankar, he is still considered to be an out of form director due to his long streak of flops. On the other hand, Vijay Devarakonda is also suffering from the mega debacle of World Famous Lover. He won a lot of flack for this film and wants to make it up with Liger.

There is a lot of hype on Liger and it needs to meet the high expectations. But the observation is, even if Liger fails, Vijay Devarakonda will be in a safe zone as his next film is with Sukumar who created a mark for himself with his recent rugged films.

So, naturally, when Vijay and Sukumar’s film comes out, whatever happens with Liger will not play on the minds of the audience as Sukumar will draw the attention big time.

Vijay has given everything for Liger as it is also his Hindi debut. Liger is also getting delayed like all other films but Vijay is not at all bothered and has locked one more film with Puri.
