Deverakonda’s Filmfare Fetches for Rs. 25 Lakhs

It’s a known thing that Vijay Deverakonda decided to auction his Filmfare Award for ‘Arjun Reddy’ and raise money to help the needy via CM Relief Fund. Just now, the award was auctioned and Divi Labs Shakunthala Divi and Kiran Divi bought it for Rs. 25 lakhs.

Speaking after the auction, Vijay Deverakonda revealed how he asked for Rs. 5 lakhs, his remuneration for ‘Arjun Reddy’ but Divi labs offered much more than that. They even asked him to keep the trophy in his shelf.

But, Vijay feels that the staff working at Divi labs must feel proud that they had contributed to a noble cause and gave away the trophy. That’s why Vijay Deverakonda is called ‘Rowdy with a golden heart.’ Not only his movie was a path breaker, even he is showing the new route to other artists how to give back to the society.
