Finally, after lots of struggles, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay‘s final film Jana Nayagan directed by H Vinoth, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release tomorrow. With only a few hours left until the release, the pre-bookings for the film are now happening in full swing.
Even though pre-bookings for Jana Nayagan are solid in Tamil Nadu, its Telugu version, Jana Nayakudu, is facing dull bookings in the Telugu states. To tackle this, the makers of Jana Nayagan are promoting the Telugu version of the film with the help of Anil Ravipudi.
Anil Ravipudi, in a recent promotional interview for Jana Nayakudu, stated that during the shooting of Vijay’s The GOAT, Vijay called him and appreciated his work in Bhagavanth Kesari. Furthermore, he mentioned that Vijay reportedly said to him that he liked the film very much. He also claimed that he spoke about this incident to Mahesh Babu. In the same interview, he stated that Jana Nayagan is just a minor inspiration from Bhagavanth Kesari.
In response to these statements from Anil Ravipudi, many people on social media are suggesting that due to the dull bookings of Jana Nayakudu caused by it being an official remake of Bhagavanth Kesari, the makers of Jana Nayagan have brought in Anil Ravipudi to remove the remake allegations.
They suggest this is why, even after H Vinoth himself confirmed that Jana Nayagan contains more than 60% of Bhagavanth Kesari, Anil Ravipudi described Jana Nayagan as merely a minor inspiration of Bhagavanth Kesari.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Anil Ravipudi factor helps Jana Nayagan’s Telugu version Jana Nayakudu, to become a successful Venture and how the Telugu version Jana Nayakudu is going to perform at the box office.
