Following the disappointing failure of Kara, Dhanush is now focusing on his upcoming spy action thriller Om, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers recently announced that the film will hit theatres on October 16.
Ever since the release date was announced, Om has generated huge expectations among audiences. The excitement is mainly because it is director Rajkumar Periyasamy’s immediate next project after delivering the blockbuster Amaran.
Recently, the makers released a special glimpse video from the film and it received an overwhelmingly positive response. The video crossed 30 million views within the first 24 hours and became the third most-viewed glimpse for a Kollywood film after Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and the KH×RK project.
While every update from Om is creating massive hype, fresh speculation is now doing the rounds on social media. Reports suggest that a grand song sequence featuring Dhanush and Sreeleela is currently being shot in Chennai.
The buzz further claims that the song will be a full-fledged dance number similar to Dhanush’s viral hit Rowdy Baby. This speculation has excited fans, who believe the actor is bringing back his vintage style in Om.
