Vishal Faces Big Set Back from High Court

A restraint order was given in the favour of the production house Trident Arts against releasing Vishal’s upcoming movie ‘Chakra‘ on an OTT platform after the production house submitted a plea to the Madras High Court.

According to the argument of the above-said production house, Vishal agreed to act in the production house’s next venture because it has suffered heavy losses due to Vishal’s ‘Action’ bankrolled by them.

The movie’s budget was too huge and it’s said that Vishal agreed to pay the losses as the movie earned 11.5 crores while allegedly the actual budget of the film exceeded 44 crore plus. So, Vishal agreed to do ‘Chakra’ for Trident Arts.

But, he went to produce ‘Chakra’ under his home banner and now, he is getting ready to release the film on a digital platform. So, Trident Arts got a restraint order stalling the release of Vishal’s film. Let’s wait for Vishal’s answer regarding this issue.
