Recent industry reports suggest that a big Telugu film has once again hit a roadblock due to unresolved VFX issues. The core problem is that the visual effects have still not reached the quality the makers originally aimed for, even after multiple reviews and revisions. Months of waiting have not translated into acceptable output.
According to reports, the lead actor is unhappy with the current VFX quality and is unwilling to allow the film’s release unless it meets today’s graphics standards. This has further complicated matters.
The team recently reviewed the VFX output yet again, but the visuals reportedly failed to impress. Fixing the VFX would require redoing a large portion of the work, which means fresh and heavy investment. However, the producers are currently unable to arrange the funds needed for such an extensive rework. This has resulted in a complete deadlock.
Without improved visuals, the film cannot move forward. Without additional money, the visuals cannot be fixed. As a result, locking a release date has become impossible.
On social media, many users believe these reports are referring to Chiranjeevi’s long-delayed film Vishwambhara. It was initially expected to release last year. However, despite going on floors much earlier, it has made little progress. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which began shooting much later, not only completed its theatrical run but has also premiered on OTT. Meanwhile, Vishwambhara remains stuck.
Reports further suggest that production house UV Creations is under financial pressure. A significant portion of their resources has reportedly been invested in Biker, starring Sharwanand. The makers are said to be hoping that revenue from Biker will help fund the remaining VFX work required for Vishwambhara.
Director Vassishta, however, has remained publicly confident. He has stated that the film is his life and that there will be no compromise on the story. He has also claimed that Chiranjeevi has already watched the film and is satisfied.
Despite these assurances, until the VFX deadlock is resolved, the future of the film remains uncertain.
