Actress Anushka Shetty, who has been in southern film industry for nearly a decade now, hasn’t dubbed in her own voice even once. While her counterparts like Trisha and Nayantara have at least dubbed in their own voices in a film or two. Anushka has finally decided to take the effort to dub in her own voice for upcoming film with Ajith Kumar.
In this yet-untitled project with Gautham Vasudev Menon, sources say that Anushka will be dubbing in her own voice. It is said that she has been trying to dub in her own voice for several years but her producers and directors were not really keen on that option as audiences have got used to her dubbed voice. However, she has finally decided to break the trend and take the effort to dub in her voice and impress audiences in Ajith’s film, which recently went on floors.
Hope Anushka succeeds in her endeavor to dub in her own voice in Tamil, and hopefully we might see her doing the same in Telugu as well.
