Actor Prakash Raj, who is gearing up for the release of his Telugu directorial titled “Ulvacharu Biriyani”, says he likes to direct films that not only entertain but has to importantly touch audiences’ hearts. Ulvacharu Biriyani” is the remake of Malayalam film “Salt N Pepper”. The film will also be released in Tamil as “Un Samayal Arrayal” and in Kannada as “Oggarane”
He said that he makes it a point to touch people’s hearts with his films. The two films he has directed before have succeeded in that and he’s confident his next film will also touch people’s hearts. A romantic comedy, the film is not a frame-to-frame copy of the original, he added.
Prakash said they have made changes to the remake, added few characters and ensured it’s not a copy. It is remake but has been adapted to suit the sensibilities of the respective language. He loved the original and felt it would be nice to remake it Maestro Illayaraja has composed tunes for the film, which is releasing June 6 worldwide.
