Will Nagarjuna continue the trend?

After a long gap actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is busy again. He has finally started the shoot of his new film titled as Soggade Chinni Nayana today. The actor has been away from any sort of film shooting ever since he completed Manam, in the first quarter of the year.

Soggade Chinni Nayana is a comedy set in village, according to sources, and Nagarjuna will be seen playing double role in it. He has Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi as heroines besides him. It is the choice of Ramya Krishna as heroine that looks surprising and is expected to continue trend again. In the past when these stars were young they played older roles but now they could simply play their age and cast heroines appropriate to their age as well.

Recently we saw Venkatesh doing the same in Drushyam where he had Meena as heroine opposite him. Will this trend caught on among the senior star heroes and will we see them playing roles that suit their age?
