It all started with Megastar Chiranjeevi. He gave rise to Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and finally his son Ram Charan. Even though Megastar is not currently active in making movies his legacy has been carried forward by those three stars who are each strong in their own way.
Taking inspiration from them brother of Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish made his debut as hero with the film Gauravam, making him the fifth hero from the family. Unfortunately there was absolutely no enthusiasm about him among the mega fans and the film proved to be an absolute disaster of epic proportions. It could be argued that it wasn’t a regular commercial fare but even his next release Kotha Janta despite huge promotions didn’t take a grand opening or become the kind of hit that had Maruthi helming the project.
Now Sai Dharam Tej is going to test his luck at the box office with the film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham on Friday. He would be the sixth hero from ‘Mega’ camp. Going by the way the movie has been promoted and the bookings that have taken place it is surely not going to be a Gauravam. But the real question is will the fans embrace him. Irrespective of that, he already has a film with Harish Shankar in his kitty, so would that mean he will have another big chance to impress. Also he is lucky in a way that Rey hasn’t been his first release. Is this also suggesting at good luck for him in the long run?
Do you think Sai Dharam Tej can establish himself as a star? The initial verdict will be out today but what do you think of him now? What does your gut feeling say? Share us your thoughts.
