
“The setting of Dasara story is completely different. We get to show the culture, habits and commitments related to a village in Telangana. Due to the proximity of the coal mine to the village, large vehicles go from the village. Because of that, it naturally got a rustic tone. The story of this movie needs some kind of town. For that we took an empty place like a forest and set a huge village. We have naturally created a village with a house, a school, a field, a bar, where five hundred people live. 98 percent of the shooting was done on the set itself,” he revealed about the village set of the film.
“The producers trusted the story and me and invested so much on this set. Eight hundred people worked hard for two months to erect the set in twenty two acres. The train sequence shot here came very well. Dasara is a subject which will appeal a lot to the audience. Srikanth Odela has amazing clarity despite being a newcomer,” he told.
