If the words of Deputy Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Council, Satish Reddy turns to be true, it will spell doom for YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Reddy announced that 16 more YSR Congress MLAs will join Telugu Desam Party very soon. He also asserted that YSR Congress chapter is finished in AP and very shut down very soon.

He even went on to say TDP will win Pulivendhula MLA seat in 2019. Pulivendhula constituency is a bastion for YSR family since decades. Pulivendhula people always gave huge majorities for the late Chief Minister and now YS Jagan is representing the same constituency. Opposition parties have often struggled to find a candidate to contest in Pulivendhula.
Satish Reddy is the TDP candidate there for a long time. He lost thrice against YSR and once against Jagan. Coming to the 16 MLAs part, such move will only inch TDP closer to the fourth Rajya Sabha seat. According to the usual numbers, Jagan Party should be easily winning one out of the four seats.
