Hyderabad’s 3-level Flyover near Kondapur will be inaugurated in the first week of June, by Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. The flyover is close to Shilpa Layout Phase II.

Built with Rs 178 crore under SRDP, the 1.2 kilometer long Flyover will ease traffic congestion, reduce commute time, ease traffic at Gachibowli and facilitate ORR-Hi-Tech connectivity.

Level 1 happens to be the existing flyover at Gachibowli junction. Level 2 is the flyover near Shilpa Layout Phase I and Level 3 is the new Phase II flyover. The Level 3 flyover will run above the other two.

37 of the 42 SRDP works are completed with the completion of this flyover. Two key railway over bridges (ROB) are next under SRDP works. One is Falaknuma ROB which is likely to be completed by July end and another is Shastripuram ROB, to be completed by end of August.

GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan has directed officials to stick to deadlines.

The new flyover will ease traffic troubles between Kondapur, Hafeezpet and ORR. There will be better connectivity between Hi-Tech city, Financial District.

Commuters will not have to wait at Kondapur for hours in traffic as the flyover will ease traffic between Kondapur and Shamshabad. The congestion at Gachibowli for those going from Kondapur to other places will also be eased.
