The Telangana government had recently built a costly new secretariat in Hyderabad and this stands as one of the flagship government infrastructure in the state.
Now, on the party level, BRS tries to get itself a swanky nee party office in Kokapet and this advancement has now come under court scrutiny.
Going into the story, BRS tried to build itself a swanky nee office in 11 acres land in the happening Kokapet area of Hyderabad. But just as the stage was being prepared for the project, the high court intervened.
The court sent a notice to the Telangana government for allocating 11 acres land in Kokapet to BRS office for Rs 3 crores while the market value in the are for the mentioned area of land is said to be around Rs 50 crores. The notice was sent after a petition was filed against the allocation of the land.
The petition mentions that the Telangana government allotted the ruling party a piece of land that costs Rs 50 crores for just Rs 3 crores.
The government will now have to revert back to the court over the petition on giving away the land for a throwaway price in a hot selling area like Kokapet.
