Seven BJP district President (all from Telangana) are threatening to resign if BJP allies with Telugu Desam Party. They have informed their decision to BJP Senior Leader Prakash Javadekar who is incharge of BJP alliances in Andhra Pradesh. They reiterated that alliance with TDP will be of no use to BJP in Telangana and this step may even prove as a suicide as Telangana sentiment is high and TDP is viewed as Telangana Drohi in the region.

Both BJP and TDP have agreed up on the alliance. BJP will be getting 45 MLA and 8 Parliamentary seats in Telangana. They will be contesting in 15 MLA and 5 MP seats in Seema Andhra region. Both the sides are involved in identifying the seats of BJP. It is said that there is a deadlock regarding seats in Hyderabad and Seema Andhra as of now. BJP Telangana President Kishan Reddy announced that he will pacify the district presidents who are threatening to resign.
