BITS Pilani officials stated that the Amaravati campus will be developed in three phases. The first phase will focus on smart buildings, AI-based services, environment friendly structures, and modern teaching facilities.

Student intake is expected to begin in 2027. Construction work on the campus will start at the earliest to ensure the timeline is met.

Once fully developed, the campus will have a final capacity of 10000 students. The expansion will be carried out gradually in multiple phases.

The futuristic AI+ campus will focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies. It is planned as a digital-first learning ecosystem.

With major investment from the Aditya Birla Group, the campus aims to become a cutting-edge innovation hub. The project is expected to strengthen Amaravati’s profile in higher education.

The initiative is also seen as a major step toward positioning Amaravati as a deep tech education centre in the coming years.
