Accenture Coming to Andhra Pradesh?

Reports are emerging that Andhra Pradesh Government is on the verge of signing an MOU with Leading IT Consulting Company, Accenture. The Company will set up a campus either in Vishakapatnam or CRDA Region.

The MOU is likely to be signed this month-end. Accenture is seeking various benefits to house 20000 employees in the new facility in Andhra Pradesh. This will be the single largest IT investment to Andhra Pradesh post the bifurcation if that happens.

Andhra Pradesh government is however silent on this news. It has become a norm for the government not to disclose about the quantum of investment and other details until the MOU is signed so as not to give a chance to other states to bulldoze the investors.
