BRS leader Harish Rao made an interesting statement regarding the real estate situation in Telangana. Harish Rao was addressing his cadre when he made the thought-evoking statement.
Harish Rao said that when he went to console a family of late BRS karyakarta, those gathered complained about not being able to sell their lands. We tried selling at Rs 40 lakh and then reduced the price to Rs 20 lakh. But we are unable to get buyers, the locals told Harish Rao.
Narrating the incident, ex minister Harish Rao pointed out that there was a time when Chandrababu Naidu spoke about land rates when KCR was in power. Harish Rao reminisced Chandrababu said there was a time when 1 acre of land in AP could buy 10 acres of land in Telangana.
However, after KCR came to power, the scene reversed. Now, one can buy 10 acres in Andhra by selling 1 acre in Telangana.
Harish Rao went on to say that the situation has reversed and gone from bad to worse in Telangana under Revanth Reddy’s rule. Harish Rao said that in two years, the situation is such that if one sells 1 acre of land in AP, they can buy 2 acres in Telangana.
The BRS leader told the gathering that if this is the scenario in 2 two years, what will happen in four years.
