Alla Rama Krishna Resigned

YSRCP received a significant setback as Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy resigned from his post along with the party. Alla submitted his resignation letter to the legislative secretary, citing personal reasons for his decision.

The primary cause of his resignation seems to be dissatisfaction with the lack of funds allocated to the Mangalagiri constituency. Alla expressed disappointment that the promised funds of Rs. 1250 crores were not delivered, and he feels neglected by the party.

Internally, it is reported that Alla’s resignation stems from these grievances. The internal discord among YCP leaders in the Mangalagiri constituency of Guntur district has escalated in recent times, leading to the opening of competing offices.

In a move against Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, Mangalagiri Tadepalli city president Donthi Reddy established an office under the name of the Vemareddy party. While Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s party office already exists in Mangalagiri, the opening of Vemareddy’s office has fueled tensions.

Despite these developments, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has not made efforts to reconcile the differences, and these tensions eventually culminated in Alla’s resignation.
