Pawan Kalyan’s Brother Nagababu joined the Janasena Party just before the 2019 elections and contested for the Narasapuram Parliament in that election.
Narasapuram was a handpicked seat because of the huge Kapu population and Pawan Kalyan himself contesting from one of the Assembly segments (Bhimavaram) in that segment. But Nagababu came only third here.
He only helped YSR Congress’s candidate Raghu Rama Krishna Raju win by cutting the votes.
Back then, Nagababu announced that he would no longer contest in elections and would only lend a helping hand to the Janasena party whenever he is needed.
We have seen him attending the party meetings now and then.
Meanwhile, there are fresh rumors that Nagababu reversed his decision.
There are reports that he will be contesting for the Kakinada Lok Sabha segment in the coming election.
This segment is another place with a significant Kapu population and so is a favorable seat for Nagababu.
Obviously, Nagababu believes it will be an easy win for him this time as the Janasena Party has an alliance with TDP.
