With cases piling up on him, looks like Ambati Rambabu is enjoying his stint in jail. On Thursday, Ambati made the now famous ‘taggedela’ gesture from Pushpa as he was brought from Rajahmundry jail to Guntur on PT warrant.
Ambati made the gesture while in the police van upon seeing YSRCP cadre in Guntur. Even after getting down from the van, he told the police – don’t touch me.
In the past few days, his daughters got into public eye by claiming their father was innocent despite being caught on camera for insulting CM Chandrababu. But Ambati was given bail in all the cases filed on him in the case.
He also got relief in the PPP case. This appears to have given him confidence that rowdy and offensive behaviour is acceptable. Then there is the caste angle, again raised by his daughter who was seen distributing sweets on Wednesday after Ambati was granted bail in PPP case.
Now, Ambati is on PT warrant for the 2023 Sankranti lucky draw case. But his filmi antics haven’t stopped. Already he has tested the patience of Andhra Pradesh people by doing elaborate street dances at the drop of a hat, say political analysts.
It remains to be seen what decision emerges after the hearing in the Court.
