Emily Chavda as she is now called, found her husband on social media and befriended him. The couple soon fell in love and after months of online romance, they decided to meet each other in the physical world. But what is supposed to be their first date soon turned into their wedding day. Indeed, when Emily flew down to Ahmedabad last week, she married Hitesh in a Hindu ceremony.
As for how the couple overcame the language barrier and woo each other, Hitesh revealed that he would he used Google’s translation software to send her messages and to decode the messages sent by her. When face-to face, the couple talked either through broken English or gestures.
