The recent US trip of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shifted the focus of West on to us. The Rockstar reception he received in US left the Western media out of words. The New York Times, a famous Newspaper in the United States reported citing Socialbakers, a site that tracks social media accounts. The report said Modi’s American Facebook base of 170,529 as of Wednesday is larger than all but 21 American elected officials and current candidates.
The Newspaper report further went on to say some of the members of US Congress were benefited from Modi’s US tour. Few members who attended the Madison Square Garden event received good number of followers on Twitter after they posted pictures of themselves with Modi. Tulsi Gabbard, first Hindu in US congress reportedly got at least 767 new followers after he posted few pictures of him with Modi following the event. It is known that Modi has taken Social networking stint very seriously before and after the election which resulted in this heroic reception among online Junta.
