Andhra Pradesh government finally responded on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s claims of Chandrababu Naidu agreeing to give back five villages of Polavaram submerging to Telangana. Irrigation Minister, Devineni Uma confirmed that there is no such proposal or thought to give back these villages.

KCR on quite a few occasions claimed that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is in favour of giving five villages which were added to Andhra Pradesh from Khammam district. There were allegations about why AP government is not responding on the statements repeatedly made by KCR. Finally Uma responded to them.
Uma also confirmed that Andhra Pradesh government will object to various projects taken up by Telangana government with out water allocations or necessary permissions. He also called for Telangana government to come up with AP to fight against several illegal projects taken up the states like Maharashtra and Karnataka.
