AP govt officially confirms deadline!

Andhra Pradesh government had given a circular on the other day that the state government will be shifting completely to Amaravati by June 1st. Until now the government only gave oral instructions regarding the shift, but on Tuesday, an official circular was sent to all the departments.

Employees going there will need 46 Lakh Square feet of Office space and 19000 employees will need residence. Various employee associations tried to convince Chandrababu against the shift, but the Chief Minister was adamant in the issue.

35 departments have put up the office space and residences requirement needed in Amaravati. Some of the employees who have no commitments like children studies and ill health will be shifted in this month itself.
