Anna canteen run by TDP in Kuppam town of Chittoor district was vandalized by unidentified persons. A temporary canteen set up at Kuppam RTC bus stand junction was attacked on Monday midnight.
The miscreants tore banners at the statue of NTR. They also tore the tent erected to give shade to the people coming to the canteen.
Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the Anna Canteen recently in Kuppam. There was a high-voltage environment as YSR Congress party workers were on a rampage to disrupt the tour.
Back then, YSR Congress ranks also tried to vandalize the Anna Canteen. They tore down banners and damaged the canteen. TDP cadre restored it again. Now, the canteen was attacked once again.
On the other hand, unidentified persons also vandalized Chandrababu Flexi at the R&B guesthouse in Kuppam town.
“Politics is fine but bringing that to Anna Canteens that feeds 100s of poor daily is truly inhumane,” people are condemning.
