YCP has been losing its MLAs left right and center as the party gears up for the coming election campaign. Another MLA has now added to the already long list of MLAs who have quit the party.
The said MLA is Kolusu Parthasarathy and he is set to quit YCP and join Telugu Desam Party on the 18th of this month.
YCP tried its best to pacify Parthasarathy and Jagan himself met with the MLA on three different occasions in the last few days but couldn’t keep ahold of the veteran MLA.
Parthasarathy was a cabinet minister in the Jagan regime and he is the MLA from Penamaluru. He has decided to quit Jagan’s party and instead go ahead with TDP. He met with TDP MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna at his office last night and formally confirmed that he is coming to TDP.
Parthasarathy will meet with Chandrababu Naidu in the Raa Kadalira program on the 18th of this month and will formally join TDP after that. With veterans leaving Jagan’s side before the 2024 election, it paints a bad image for YCP right ahead of the polls.
