Nagarkurnool MP Pothuganti Ramulu

BRS seems to be losing the steam ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Not only prominent leaders but even sitting MPs are leaving the party, which is a concern.

Last month, Peddapalli MP Venkatesh Netha Borlakunta left BRS and joined Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He will be contesting on behalf of Congress this time.

Now, Nagarkurnool MP Pothuganti Ramulu also exited the party. Sources say that he will join the BJP soon and contest with its ticket in the upcoming elections.

It is heard that Ramulu’s personal differences with Achampet former MLA Guvvala Balaju made him leave the party. For the last few weeks, Balaraju has been reportedly publicizing himself as the MP candidate of BRS.

Meanwhile, BRS is yet to announce its candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and the departure of sitting MPs is causing even greater concern within the party.
