The Winter Session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly is going to begin from December 18th. The government initially planned the session in Nagarjuna University, Guntur but backed off in the last minute. The session will now take place in Hyderabad itself.
The session gains prominence as government is gearing up to introduce crucial bills regarding the state capital and land pooling for the upcoming capital. On the other side, the main opposition party, YSR Congress is keen on capitalizing this session by pinning down the government on its poll promises.
In the last Assembly session, the ruling government successfully took the attack in to opposition and made frustrated Jagan Mohan Reddy lose his cool several times. This time YSRCP wants that not to happen and has started their homework early. Issues like Loan Waiver and Land Pooling for State Capital are likely to take center stage in this session.
