Jagan Mohan Reddy is reshuffling his party in-charges in the name of Surveys. Recently he appointed new incharges for eleven Assembly constituencies. And it has resulted in a change for Dalit Minister Adimulapu Suresh.
Suresh contested from Santanuthalapadu in 2014 and Erragondapalem in 2019. Erragondapalem is his own constituency. Since he is the Minister, he has got a chance of getting hold of the constituency but that is not the case now.
Suresh will be contesting from Kondepi now. Contesting from three different seats in three different elections is a shame for any politician. For someone who worked as a Minister, it is even uncomfortable.
It is very difficult to go to a new seat and establish a cadre there.
Buzz is that some leaders belonging to the Chief Minister’s community are opposing Adimulapu Suresh and that prompted the change.
Another Dalit MLA, TJR Sudhakar Babu of Santhanuthalapadu is totally sidelined. He is also being opposed by the local Reddy leaders.
Of the eleven changes Jagan made so far, five are from the SC and BC communities.
There are rumors that candidates will be changed in all the twenty-nine SC constituencies hitting their self-esteem.
