Bail Rejected for Raj Kasireddy

Bail for Raj Kasireddy was rejected in the AP liquor scam case. The petition was filed in Vijayawada ACB Court by accused Raj Kasireddy, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy and Dileep.

On August 28, the Court gave its ruling. Bail was granted to A30 Dileep, but the Court denied bail to A1 Raj Kasireddy and Sajjala Sridhar Reddy.

Dileep, who was Raj Kasireddy’s PA, had been in Vijayawada jail as one of the nine accused. He is now released on bail.

Earlier, Raj Kasireddy approached the Supreme Court. His plea was dismissed with advice to file the petition before the trial court.

Both Raj Kasireddy and Sajjala Sridhar Reddy remain key accused in the Rs 3200 crore liquor scam. The Andhra Pradesh government is pursuing the case to identify the mastermind through the main accused.

The SIT claimed that Raj Kasireddy diverted kickback money to different channels to turn it into white money. However, he insists that he has no link to the scam and is being targeted unfairly.
