From what was initially agreed, Janasena had to sacrifice three MLA seats, one MP seat, and TDP one MLA seat to the BJP.

These three seats are Janasena’s strong seats – Vijayawada West, Tirupati, and Tadepalligudem.

It is confirmed that BJP will contest from Vijayawada West and Tirupati.

Janasena leader Pothina Mahesh worked so hard in the constituency for the past five years. Janasena was confident of winning this seat easily.

Tirupati has a huge Kapu population and previously Megastar Chiranjeevi won from here. So, Janasena had an edge here.

BJP is after Tadepalligudem where Janasena has its senior leader Bollisetti Srinivas. BJP says it has won Tadepalligudem in 2014 and wants it.

From Tadepalligudem and Unguturu (previously given to Janasena), Pawan Kalyan will have to give one to the BJP.

TDP and Janasena are likely to announce their second list and BJP its first list on the fourteenth.
