BJP Offers 100 Crore and Cabinet Berth to Each MLA

HD Kumaraswamy, the Chief Minister Candidate for Congress – JDS Coalition has made stunning allegations on BJP resorting to horse-trading of their MLAs. Kumaraswamy alleged that BJP is offering 100 Crore and a Cabinet Berth to each MLA of JDS and Congress.

Kumaraswamy warned BJP not to resort to such practices and said they would pull out double the MLAs from the Saffron Party as they will from their parties. BJP claims that 12 Congress MLAs and an Independent are in touch with them. That would take BJP number to 117 which is well above the Simple Majority.

Rumours are that BJP is also in talks with Six JDS MLAs. BJP says that Yedyurappa will take Oath tomorrow in Karnataka Vidhana Sabha even though there is no such official confirmation from the Raj Bhavan. If allowed to take oath, Yedyurappa will be given time to take the floor test and prove his majority.
