The BRS clarified on its official X handle that party chief KCR is healthy and doing well. It appealed to Telangana citizens and BRS workers not to believe the false news circulating since morning.
Several media outlets reported that KCR was unwell and rushed to a Hyderabad hospital. The party strongly denied this and confirmed that KCR held a meeting in the morning at his Erravelli farmhouse with KTR, Padma Rao Goud, Sabita Indira Reddy, Harish Rao, and Mehmood Ali.
The BRS asked media houses to report facts instead of rumours. After the Assembly election defeat, KCR has stayed mostly at his farmhouse, guiding party leaders and followers. His recent hospital visit for tests had already sparked health concerns.
To address doubts, the party has been sharing videos of KCR’s meetings. Earlier today, he announced the Jubilee Hills candidate and met senior leaders. Soon after, fresh rumours of his ill health spread, which the BRS condemned online.
This clarification calmed party workers. Meanwhile, KTR is expected to brief the media from Telangana Bhavan about the Formula E case and the Jubilee Hills by-election.
