After BRS lost the power in Telangana, many of its leaders are jumping into either Congress or the BJP one after the other.
The jumpings have increased once the elections started nearing. Today, it was reported that BRS MLA Kadiyam Srihari was jumping into Congress and former MLA Aroori Ramesh was shifting to BJP. Both of them are planning to contest from Warangal in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
However, BRS seems to be in no mood to leave them. When Aroori Ramesh was about to hold a press meet to announce his party shift, BRS leaders along with former minister Erraballi Dayakar Rao, visited him and forced him not to make an announcement until Harish Rao comes to talk to him.
When Ramesh was being forcefully taken in a vehicle by the BRS leaders, BJP leaders tried to stop the car, resulting in a huge spat between both sides.
Probably this is the first time in Telangana politics where a leader was physically forced not to join other party.
After such a huge drama, BRS manages to convince both Aroori and Kadiyam not to jump to other parties.
However, will they employ the same strategy with other leaders? How many times can they force leaders to refrain from taking drastic actions? With elections on the corner, we can expect many dramatic incidents in Telangana politics in the coming days.
