Whenever Chief Minister YS Jagan speaks, he claims that he will do politics with values. He also criticized Chandrababu Naidu for always doing degraded politics. That is the political war between two leaders in the state. But CBI has provided a great chance to YS Jagan to increase the values in politics. The central investigating agency first mentioned YS Jagan Mohan Reddy name in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case in its supplemental charge-sheet.
YSRCP demanded resignation of CBN on Vote-to-Note case in Telangana MLC elections though Telangana CID did not mention CBN name in the charge-sheet. It is shocking to YSRCP how to defend its leader in Viveka’s murder case. The only thing left out here is resignation to the Chief Minister position that gives a boost to its cadre. We have some scenarios earlier in United Andhra Pradesh on resignations.
Former President of India and former Lok Sabha Speaker Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy who also served as Chief Minister for Andhra Pradesh during early 60’s. In 1964, he resigned voluntarily following unfavourable observations made against the Government of Andhra Pradesh by the Supreme Court in the Bus Routes Nationalisation case. Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy is from Anantapur district.
Nedurumilli Janardhan Reddy resigned after the High Court indicted him on capitation fee scandal in 1992. He faced charges of corruption and nepotism. Both Neelam and Nedurumilli also belong to YS Jagan’s community. That’s the reason Jagan has a great opportunity to uphold diminishing values in politics.
