CBI Seeks Permission To Interrogate Kavitha

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sought permission from Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court to question BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha concerning the Delhi Liquor Scam case.

The CBI requested the court to grant permission to interrogate Kavitha at Tihar Jail. She has been on remand at Tihar Jail for the last two weeks.

The CBI stated that it already served notices to Kavitha to attend the interrogation. The court is expected to deliver its order soon.

Kavitha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 16. She was sent to Tihar Jail on March 26.

Along with Kavitha, Delhi’s Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal was also arrested and sent to Tihar Jail in connection with the same case.
