Center finalizes estimation of Amaravati construction

Union Minister HP Choudary submitted a report of experts to Lok Sabha which finalized the estimated expenses of Amaravati construction. According to that, the capital construction will need 27,097 Crore.

According to the AP Reorganization act, Center should bear the total expense of the upcoming capital of AP. Buildings costs – 10,519 Crore, Basic amenities – 1536 Crore, Basic amenities development and expansion – 9181 Crore to be more precise.

Center had already released 1850 Crore to the state in 2014-15 and 2015-16. These estimations are not on the rich lines of state government plans but basic plans of the center. The future of the state will depend on how and when the center will release the funds. The state government is ambitious to complete the first phase of capital construction by 2018.
